Qualifications and Experience

What is your training & experience?

I trained at WPF Therapywhere I gained the Postgraduate Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling with a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Studies validated by the University of Roehampton. WPF is one of the leading counselling training organisations in the UK and their courses are accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I have worked for several well-known counselling and psychotherapy organizations including Childline, and I currently for WPF Therapy.  In addition, I have provided psychotherapy consultancy within the NHS and have worked as a Counsellor for GP practices within Barnet PCT.

I am also a qualified teacher/trainer with extensive experience running teaching groups and seminars in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

How will I know you are working to a professional standard?

I am a professional member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and practice within their ethical framework which can be found on their website www.bacp.co.uk. I am also a member of the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC), the graduate organization of WPF. Membership of these organizations helps to ensure the highest standard of professional practice.
